Great piece! Got exactly to the same conclusion over the years of thinking exercising was “a waste of time” or time I could be producing more, reading more, writing more, etc... wrong!! It only seems that way on the surface and only if you are only paying attention to time, and not to energy, mental clarity and true productivity.

A quote stuck with me during the pandemic: “Exercising is like giving a massage to the brain”, it’s the only form to make our brain relax, it’s a chance to recharge/reflect subconsciously during our waking hours.
